This copy does register a real service worker (see sw.js) — so once you've opened it, it loads offline and the browser's own "Install app" prompt has a real shot at firing. It still doesn't send push notifications on its own; that needs a backend and a subscription flow (Web Push), which sw.js has a stub for but nothing wired up. Fair game to add later if you want it.
